Working holiday to remember in Dubai?

Hi everyone!

I will be on a working vacation to Dubai for a week from Saturday. The work part is pretty much sorted, but I am unsure of what to do when work finishes in the day. Any suggestions on what to do on days that I am not working and evenings? Would love to meet new people and make new contacts. I was in Dubai for the first time last year on a work assignment, but I never truly got to experience all that Dubai has to offer and I was as nervous as hell as I was unsure of what I was allowed to do and not do.

It would be great to meet the fabulous expats in the Dubai for coffees, drinks, something to eat and a chat. I want to make this trip one to remember. I will be based in Jumeirah by the beach. So ladies, fellas feel free to drop me an email or just stop by and say hi and I promise to say hello back.
