childcare in Dublin

Hi,
Me and my wife will probably be moving to Dublin in October. Our baby boy
will be 2,5 months old by then, and we were wondering if there are long
waiting lists for childcare. Moreover, are there any notable differences between
childcare in the Netherlands and childcare in Dublin?
Any information would be greatly appreciated!
