DublinBikes is a public bicycle rental scheme which has been operated in the city of Dublin since Protected content . The scheme uses Protected content unisex bicyles. Dublin was the 17th city to implement such a scheme. The scheme is sponsored by JCDecaux.

I am using this service for over 2 years now and I am more than happy with it. It's awesome.

Long Term Card Holder
For just €10 per annum, you can enjoy all the benefits of dublinbikes at the swipe of a card. (short term -3 days - bike hire is also available for only 2 Euro.

First 30 minutes are free and this should be enough for going from one place to another. First hour costs 50 eurocents. For more info, see Protected content

Using the Bikes
dbs are very simple to use. To rent or return a db, follow the instructions on the station terminal menu.

Bikes
Look out for the distinctive dbs in Dublin city: easy to handle and robust, they are specially designed for city use.
