Flying on a one way ticket? (Dublin)

Hi all,

Maybe some of you came accross people or you might be one yourself.

My husband is a Non-EA citizen, and he's flying in from South Africa on his own.
I'll already be in Dublin by the time he arrives.

But now my question is, is it alright for him to fly into Ireland with a one way ticket?
Will the immigration officer at passport control have an issue with him flying in on a 1 way ticket.

My husband will have all the necessary documentation with him when he is going to say he's coming to Ireland to be with me: He's got our marriage certificate, copies of my ID card and passport and health insurance.

Anyone that is able to help in this matter is much appreciated :D

We just want to save some money were we can when coming from SA ;)
