Moving to Dublin

Hey there!
Am moving from Geneva to Dublin next week...and absolutely thrilled to finally discover this city and country. As my move is rather sudden due to a last minute change of plans, I urgently need some good tips on where to stay !
I am currently taking a year sabbatical from my humanitarian work with the int'l committee of red cross, to do studies in intercultural psychology. As part of this study am coming to Dublin to do an internship at a clinical centre for refugees in Phibsborough. So any pointers and recommendations on how-where to find short term flat from now till end of April most welcome! Flatmates too !! As I will be volunteering my budget is limited..alas!
AS for leisure, any tips most welcome too: i have many interests so i'll try to limit to a few for starters: climbing (if anyone knows of a climbing wall in town I'd love to keep practicing there!), dancing (tango, salsa) .
