Moving to Ireland - bringing car or selling it? (Dublin)

Hi,
I will be moving from Germany to Ireland with a permanent contract soon and I'm currently pondering whether I should bring my vehicle (Honda CR-V, 3.5 years old, of course LHD) to continue driving it in Ireland or instead sell it in Germany (big depreciation!) and buy one in Ireland. Both options obviously have their assets and disadvantages, so I'd like to know if anybody of you ever faced the same dilemma? Thanks a lot!
