Portuguese and English native speakers wanted for (Dublin)

RESEARCH EXPERIMENT Call for participants

We are recruiting native speakers of Portuguese and English, aged
between 18 and 55 who are willing to participate in a research study
designed to test a prototype inter-lingual communication system.

The participant in this experiment will work with an assigned partner
on collaborative tasks mediated by a computer system that performs
automatic translations. The experiment will be recorded both in
audio and video. Basic biosignals (EEG, eye movements, galvanic skin
response) will also be measured.

The recordings will be used to analyse human verbal and non-verbal
behavior in the scenario of an inter-lingual communication system.

The experiment, including the instruction phase and set up will last
about 1 hour per session.

Each participant will be rewarded with a 10 euro voucher.

The experiment does not imply any risk to the participant.

The first planned dates for the experiments are: week days August 11 to 21.
