Relocating with husband & child to Dublin

Hello , my husband is Irish, myself a New Yorker. We have a child who is 9 years old. We all have dual citizenship. My husband has his own company and we are thinking of relocating to Dublin. It has been 25 years + since my husband lived in Ireland:)

He grew up in Templelogue area, but wondering if people have suggestions on where we should relocate to within the Dublin area. We would love to find a good school for my daughter and a area where there is a good performance school. She loves theater and singing. But mostly I would like to find her a good education and can assimilate well.
I am in the arts and are a foodie, so I am glad to be near Dublin!
I have heard about Clontarf and Malahide. But,I would love to hear people's suggestions. Thank you and appreciate any thoughts.
