Would you like to take part in the beta test of a new app for iPhones and iPads? It's great fun, you get to see a brand new app before it's released to the public, and you get the opportunity to influence the app in terms of its style and features.
appycrowd is soon to release an iOS version of its classic game - "Just Tilt It!". But, we like to beta test our apps, with real users, before release. Therefore, we will be running a beta test for the new app between 27th June and 5th July, and we are looking for people who would be interested in taking part.
If you are interested, just reply to " Protected content by next Friday 20th June, telling us what device (or devices, if you have more than one) you will be testing on, and we will contact you with instructions for the next steps.
To take part in the beta test, you will need:
- an iOS device, running iOS 6.1 or later. Devices include iPhones, iPads, iPad minis, and iPod Touches.
- A laptop or desktop computer (Mac or Windows) running iTunes.
- At a couple of points in the process, you will need to connect your device to your computer using the cable that came with the device.
If you are invited to join the group, you will be asked for the Unique Identifier (UDID) for your device. You can find this by running iTunes and plugging in your device. More details on this will be sent to you once you have been chosen for the beta testing.
On 27th June we will upload the game to the appycrowd web site and send each member of the beta testing group a link to the download web page. Details on how to download and install the file will be forwarded later. After that you just need to "play the game" and provide us with some feedback, telling us about any bugs you have encountered, and any ideas you have for improvements. Further details how about to do that will be forwarded to you too.
Remember - if you are interested, just reply to " Protected content by next Friday 20th June, telling us what device(s) you will be testing on, and we will contact you with instructions for the next steps.
Thanks, and we hope to see you in the beta group.
