Expat life in Durban

Hi

It looks very likely that my partner will be moving to a new job in Durban from the UK which means my 2 year old son and myself will be coming too. We originally thought it would be Cape Town where I know there is an expat scene. Can anyone suggest anything similar in Durban as I am used to working full time and am a little nervous of feeling very isolated in a country far from home.

Any advice or suggestions will be gratefully received.
