Possible move to durban (Durban)

Hello everyone,
We are considering a move to durban, any gate community recommendations? As well schools? Got 2 girls 4 and 7yrs old.
Heard formal school starts at 7 a bit concern about this as my 7 years old already knows how to read and right, any one has gone through the same thing? how was the reaction from the kids, I'm afraid she will be bored.
