Residence Visa for Parents in KSA? (Khobar (Eastern Prov.))

I belong to Pakistan and I have got job opportunity in Al-Khobar Saudi Arabia with Family status. My problem is that I have elderly parents, and i am the only son. They are dependent on me for taking care of their health. I am looking for way to get them into the kingdom but not with visit visa. It is a headache for elderly people.

I know this must be an issue with other people working in KSA and some one might have worked out a way around it.

Please, provide me with options. Can I live in Bahrain and Work in Khobar? If yes than will i'll be able to sponsor them in Bahrain. I heard the visa rule is not strict as in KSA.
