New friends in Edinburgh

Hi! I've been living in Scotland for about 5 months now and finding it difficult to meet new people. At the moment I I live in a town close to Edinburgh, but spend there every weekend, so it would be nice to meet new friendly people. If anybody is in the same situation and wants to meet up drop me a line :)
