"Oil Sands Karaoke" - film screening (Edmonton)

Hey everyone,

Just letting you know about a fundraiser/film screening this Saturday (Sep Protected content for Global Visions Film Festival - Canada's longest running documentary festival.

The documentary is called "Oil Sands Karaoke". I've watched it; it's an entertaining film about some of the people who work up in Fort McMurray. And if you're new to Edmonton, this is a great way to get a glimpse into what it's like living up in that part of the province, and to learn more about the oil sands controversy that you are no doubt aware of.

Aside from the film, there will also be a karaoke party/contest, prizes, silent auction, free appies, etc. For more information:
