"Join us on Sunday, May 13th for a special event that The Hub Eindhoven for Expats has organized with Berlage. A stand-up comedy show in English performed by 3 professional comedians from Canada, Germany, and the UK.

Dave Thompson (UK) has performed comedy for over 20 years in places like Ireland, France, Holland, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, The Czech Republic, Slovakia, Sweden, Poland, and Monte Carlo. TV programmes such as ‘Harry Hill’s TV Burp’, and ‘The Sketch Show’ have commissioned Dave as a writer. Dave is best known as the person inside the Tinky Winky costume in ‘Teletubbies’, which is still shown all over the world. Known for his one-liners and absurd persona, Dave has even written material for many other comics, including Harry Hill, Ronnie Corbett, Bruce Forsyth, Jim Tavare, Ben Elton, and Stewart Lee.

Christian Schulte-Loh (Germany) is one of the biggest names in German comedy and is currently based in London. He has performed all over the world including Argentina, UK, Germany, Denmark, Slovakia, Hungary , Czech Republic, Holland, Belgium, and countless other countries, and hosts his own one-man show at the Edinburgh Fringe festival. He is known as one of the foremost foreign comedians on the UK comedy circuit and headlines clubs across the UK regularly.

Joe Eagan (CAN) currently resides near Copenhagen and runs the English comedy club there. He specializes in touring around Europe and performing for international/expat groups with his unique ‘sit-down comedy’ show about life in Europe, culture clashes, and lots of other fun things – a maple syrup mix of observational humour you don’t want to miss.

Everything will be in English.
