Considering Erbil

Hi everyone,

My husband and I are thinking about moving to Erbil from Turkey. He holds and Iraqi passport and is a dentist. He's worked in Baghdad, Iraq before but never Erbil. I've read some of the posts here but I'm still a little worried.

Im not concerned about the war since I've heard from his family everything is okay. Im more concerned that there isnt a Canadian Embassy.

Our other option was Amman, Jordan where we have a Canadian Embassy. Is anyone able to compare Amman to Erbil price was? (Living expenses/food, etc)
