Jazz Festival Jan 26th (Essen)

Hi!
At the end of this month (26th of January) the Jazz Festival of the Dortmund University will take place for the 12th time.
I think I want to have a look at it, sounds promising. Has anyone been there in previous years? Was it good?
Does anyone want to join me?
