The Rue de la Petite Truanderie is not really a street but rather a small square bang in the center of Paris and not far away from Forum Des Halles. We'll meet at a small bar called Le Gobelet d'Argent - apparently one of the oldest bars still in operation in Paris, but many places seem to claim that title nowadays. Anyhow, the beer is good and so are the ciders, the cocktails and the whiskies. For those who would be hungry: plenty of take-out options available in the vicinity. Note: in case of adverse weather forecast, an alternate location may be provided.
The best metro station for this pub is Etienne Marcel on line 4. Coming by car is... not really recommended in a city like Paris. Dress code: casual. Look for people in front of the bar wearing InterNations name tags! You are welcome as from 19:00. There is no entry fee for Newcomers' Events. Be aware though that many Parisian bars do not take cards for payments under 10 or 15 euros, so make sure to bring some cash money.
InterNations Events work with a guest list. Since ours is usually limited in size, please sign up only when you're sure to attend the event. Not able to come in the end? Please cancel your attendance as soon as possible, as this will allow other newcomers to seize a spot on the list. Also, feel free to bring your newcomers friends as well but make sure they register to InterNations first and then add their names to the event post.
Event date didn't match with your agenda? No worries, there will be another Newcomers' Event next month!
We look forward to meeting you all!
