Happy 9th Birthday InterNations!

Please join us on 25 September from 19:30 to 21:30 to celebrate a very special night inside Bukchon Hanok Village – a high-end residential district for royal families and high-ranking government officials during the Joseon dynasty (1392-1910).

It is a place where 600 years of tradition (1392-1910) and +70 years of progress (1945-2017) coexist, where history still breathes, from the eaves of buildings to the entrances of narrow backstreets. This is a village made scenic by time.

UVA tea and wine bar is located at the heart of this Bukchon Village, and boasts one of the best outdoor terraces in the city. We will have access to their rooftop where you can mix and mingle and celebrate InterNations 9th anniversary amidst the serene and beautiful view of the 600 year old area.

The entrance fee includes one free drink of wine and a special menu for InterNations members.

The special menu includes:
1. Pan seared chicken breast in sauvignon blanc cream sauce with bread.
2. Mini charcuterie platter.
3. Guacamole and chips

As for wine, the venues offer a glass of house red shiraz from Glenwood Estate South Africa.

From Anguk station exit 2. From exit 2, walk down along Bukchon Street for 600m. UVA tea and wine bar is located across the street to your left, right next to Gahoe Catholic Church.
Some tips along the way: After walking about 300m, you will come to a zebra crossing. Walk straight across it and when you come to a three-way crossroad, just walk up along Bukchon Street. Keep walking until you see ‘5 September’ on your right, and a CU convenience store. (The alley across the road is the entrance to the traditional hanok villages. If you’re early, take a walk inside the alley and explore!) The venue is located about 50m more down from ‘5 September’.
It is a 10 minute (600m) walk from the station.

ATTENTION: THIS IS A SPECIAL EVENT and we will be taking lots of pictures and videos. Please dress in business/smart casual/or casual colorful as this will help brighten up the photos. Also, don’t forget to bring your business cards because there will be a lucky draw. ONLY CASH PAYMENT AT THE DOOR!

Please do not forget to register for this event by clicking the Accept Invitation button. Feel free to bring your international friends and co-workers, but please invite them to sign up for InterNations first.
