Romain, the former owner of Tartine and co-owner of Backstage 76, also has a Georgian - French fusion restaurant and bar worth checking out. Nestled in an alley behind Ambassador Hotel and among other famously good bars and cafes in a brick building walk up is Metis. The decor is light and airy, taking inspiration from the French Caribbean theme. The drinks and food menu add to that feeling.

It is here on the main floor and rooftop terrace accessible by spiral staircase that we will congregate for our September party. The terrace lounge features a second bar and a wonderful view of the Presidential Palace across the Mtkvari River while enjoying a glass of wine and nibbling some canapés, weather permitting. Otherwise, we can simply party below deck.

Your Tbilisi InterNations community Ambassadors invite you to join us at the Metis Restaurant and Bar on Saturday evening, 22 September beginning at 20:00. It is located at 8 loane Shavteli Street. It is between the residence of the patriarch and the Anchiskhati Basilica. Hangar Bar and Cafe Leila are along the same alley which is a pedestrian only street.

Here our globally minded members will gather to see and be seen at the best international scene in Tbilisi.

Come enjoy your welcome drink, canapé and mingle with other expats and Tbilisians while enjoying lively music. Feel free to make use of the cash bar and menu on your own to eat, drink and be merry.
