This December, the InterNations Erbil Community will meet for our official event at the Onyx Restaurant of the Divan Hotel, Gulan Street.

The last InterNations Erbil Official Event was in October and we held it at the LOFT Restaurant, International Hotel (top floor). It was well attended with many newcomers who brought friends.

The intention was to meet at the Onyx Restaurant in November, but I had to fly to the UK at short notice and by the time I returned to Kurdistan it was too late to organize a November event and give members sufficient notice.

So, we absolutely had to organize a final InterNations Official Event in 2019 before Erbil Community members return home to celebrate Christmas and the New Year with their families. We thought that 14 December was a good date, as Erbil members were unlikely to book flights home before the 20th. We hope we got that right.

The Onyx Restaurant is managed by the SPASS Group, who also manage the LOFT Restaurant. At last October's event both Omed and Hanna from SPASS Group Management attended the event and we hope that they will attend this time as well. The Group organizes a number of regular activities at their Erbil venues (women's evenings, cheese and wine parties, Jazz nights, etc). These regular activities carry an entrance fee, so if there is sufficient interest within the Erbil Community then we can try to negotiate special discounts for InterNations members.

Hope to see you there.
