Ready to Join?

Join us on Feb. 11 for a night of social networking and fun in artistic surroundings.

Whether you have just arrived in town and looking to make new friends, create business contacts, exchange ideas and travel impressions, or eagerly seeking the love of your life (hey, it's nearly Valentine's after all!), this may be the event to find whatever you are looking for!

As a ''thank you'' for our Albatross members, we will offer a complimentary Royal Specialty coffee :-) Basic members and not signed up will pay a small fee.

A DJ will ensure a nice, loungy atmosphere and drinks and regional snacks from Fundão (Central Portugal) will be available for purchase.

THE VENUE:
São Mamede Art Gallery was founded in the 60s as one of Portugal’s first. Over the course of its history, it has exhibited and promoted works from the country’s most notable artists (such as Vieira da Silva, Paula Rego e Almada, and Nadir Afonso), as well as many contemporary and young talents.

With its ancient brick archways and stone floors, the Gallery is considered a local landmark. It is located in Principe Real, the heart of the city, and features a wide variety of rooms with ample displays and ongoing exhibitions.

As of 2018, the Gallery has annexed a new exhibit space, comprised of two different levels, with a total area of 500m2. In this additional space, further modern and contemporary works are showcased.

See you soon!
