Modern life can feel like an endless sequence of cancelled plans, last-minute meetings, delayed journeys, even pandemics… and opportunities. So, how can we use unpredictability to our advantage?

LSE and NYU academic Dr Christian Busch (bio below) has spent a decade exploring how we can use uncertainty as a pathway to more joyful, purposeful and successful lives. His book shares inspiring stories, hands on exercises, insights from his cutting-edge research, and interviews with hundreds of leading CEOs and changemakers.

In this talk, you will learn:
* about the science of serendipity and how to cultivate it in your life, for innovation and impact.
* how to turn uncertainty into opportunity, joy, & sustained success.

Bio: Dr. Christian Busch is an internationally renowned expert on purpose-driven leadership, innovation, and social impact. He is Director of the Global Economy program at the Center for Global Affairs, NYU. Previously, he co-directed LSE's Innovation & Creation Lab.
