Happy New Year to Grenoble community and all other communities around the world!

Setsubun, a celebration of the beginning of spring in Japan is just 3 days away. On this day Japanese people shout "Evil spirits out! Good luck in!" and throw roasted beans. Evil spirits are symbols of misfortunes and difficulties that (I think we can all agree) were abundant last year.

Let's get together to cast the evil spirits out and welcome good luck into the new year! I will briefly explain the Setsubun story and I invite you to share your stories of welcoming good luck or any other interesting traditions you know about!
