according to local authorities, certain in-person activities are permitted in your community.
Please make sure to follow the latest
official health guidelines
and restrictions in your area. We hope you stay safe and enjoy the event!
For our 2nd official event of 2021 and after the success of the first one, we are going to do another outdoor hike that will allow us to be social with other members safely (with social distancing and mask), enjoy being outside and also do some exercise!!
This time we will hike the famous Belmont Plateau trails in Fairmount Park which are some of the most historic courses in American cross-country with countless races since the 60’s and also great views of the Philadelphia skyline.
As an easy starting point we will meet in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art at the bottom of the steps (on the right side next to the Art Museum white sign) between 1:45PM and 2PM (try to arrive earlier to be on time). From the Art Museum we will walk together on Martin Luther King Drive to the beginning of Belmont Plateau trails off Montgomery Drive.
Following current official guidelines and to keep everyone safe, all guests will be expected to:
- stay 6 feet apart
- wear a mask at all times
This event is limited to 20 guests on a first-come first-served basis and there is also a waiting list for your convenience. Please RSVP only if you are seriously planning to attend and please cancel your confirmed attendance later if you can not make it. Sneakers or hiking shoes are recommended (and don't forget your mask!!).
Rain Date: Sunday March 14th @ 2PM
Looking forward to meet you or see you again!!
