Memorial Day is considered the unofficial beginning of summer in the U.S. Many cities have been celebrating the holiday since 1868 as a federal holiday celebrating US military personnel who served their country, Come celebrate, meet new friends and enjoy summertime foods like pizza or sandwiches with a nice cold beer.
