Let’s have a picnic and chat gazing at the famous Kamogawa and cherry flowers along the river!

Bring your own food and drinks or buy it at the convenience store LAWSON. It’s 4 hours long picnic so you can make groups and walk up the river where The Ritz Carlton Kyoto is to see more cherry flowers there and stroll back to the picnic area.

Please pay ¥500 at arrival (April Fool prize, tarps, name tags, etc. )

Let’s hope that the weather will be nice on April 1st.
There will be a prize to the person who makes best April Fool jokes and makes us laugh.

Bring games if you’d like to play some: Board games, cards…

Info for members from Osaka:
Take Keihan Line from Yodoyabashi Station to be able to sit at Tokkyu (red) train, 55 minutes, ¥420 one way.
At Sanjo Station in Kyoto, take exit 6, cross the bridge, turn left, you will see the entrance to the riverbank, once you’re by the river look right and spot our blue tarp.

(From 22:00, I will have Kitsune Kyoto Activity until 4:30am and take 5:04 Keihan Line train back to Osaka in the morning. You’re welcome to join me.
Foreign ID holders: No entrance fee but 1 drink ¥700 is a must. You get another drink ticket if you say ‘Beru’no gesuto desu’ at the reception.
Japanese ID holders: Women ¥1000 with 3 drink tickets, men ¥2000 with 3 drink tickets if you enter before 23:00, after 23:00 no drink tickets.

Many people sit along the river near Sanjo Station all summer long. See you there.
