Ready to Join?

Imagine savoring food from all over the world while enjoying lake views.

It’s time to parade your culinary expertise and prepare a dish from your country that you can share with all your international friends! This is an event you don’t want to miss!! And if you are not into cooking or baking, then you can still bring any other food or (non-alcoholic) drinks and meet new people. I am planning to make the world-famous Italian dessert Tiramisu so hopefully I will inspire you to make some other delicious dishes. If you can, please also bring a small sign with the name of the dish and the country represented. We will provide small plates, plastic silverware, and napkins.

Entrance to Bond Park is free. Address is 197 Bond Park Dr, Cary, NC 27513, follow directions to the Boathouse. There is a large free parking lot just in front of the boathouse.

Let’s meet by the Boathouse Screened Porch. This porch is available on a first-come first-served basis so hopefully it will be available. Otherwise, there are several tables close by on the boathouse deck or picnic tables next to the boathouse.

Additional after lunch activities for people who love the outdoors: you can explore a 2.1 miles loop trail around Bond Lake. Or you can rent paddle boats or kayaks.
