InterNations São Paolo Event/Independence Day Celebration

We are thrilled to announce that the US Marines have kindly offered up their home as the venue for this year’s AmSoc Independence Day Celebration. Internations will co-host the event with AmSoc.

AmSoc’s well-loved Independence Day Party is famous for having something for everyone; games and themed crafts for kids, live music including your favorite streaming for adults, and of course sparklers and food for everyone.

In keeping with American Fourth of July traditions, each family is asked to bring a salad or fantastic dessert to accompany the traditional hamburgers and hot dogs. When you sign-up on the AmSoc site, please remember to select one of the food options that you will be bringing. Also, if you’re bringing kids between 2 and 14 years of age, it will be helpful to include their ages in the reservation so we can better plan kids’ activities.

Doors open at 1:30PM so we can get the kids fed, followed by Opening Ceremonies at 2:30PM. A representative from the Consulate will welcome us all and read the President’s Independence Day Proclamation. The rest of the afternoon is ours to enjoy. At dusk, the day ends with sparklers for the kids, and a smile on your faces after spending time with friends, meeting new members, and keeping with this great American tradition.
