Lets spend the last Sunday of July at The AT&T Discovery District.
Plenty of Food & Drink choices in the area, such as THE EXCHANGE (Food Hall) or Restaurants like Jaxons & The Hawthorn, etc. Plenty of room outside and inside in case weather is good or bad.

Art exhibit in area. Plus interactive exhibits.
If nice weather, take a blanket to sit.
Plenty of chairs in the area, but Sundays there are many families and people around.
Easy access via DART Rail - Get off at Akard and walk few blocks. Plus Free Parking at AT&T Garage at 1212 Jackson Street, (Any merchant will Validate your ticket. Metered street parking is FREE after 4pm or 6pm depending.
