Ready to Join?

Kamogawa river bank is a favorite spot for people who like Kyoto and nature.

People come from all around the world to be able to sit here after walking at Kiyamachi Street where the nightlife is and the famous Pontocho Street.
Nishikicho or Kawaramachi…
There are many temples around too…

Come and rest after a long walk in Kyoto.
Talk to your old friends or make new ones.

Bring your own food and drinks or buy it at the convenience store
LAWSON at the corner of the bridge (Sanjo Oohashi). (Sanjo Bridge)

It’s easy to find our picnic spot.
The entrance to the riverbank is right near Lawson. Once you walk down the steps and reach the water,

sunny day, to the right 👉
rainy day, to the left 👈
100 meters.

Yeeeees!
This event will happen even if it rains.
Just like last year, we will be sitting under Sanjo Oohashi.

(Keihan Sanjo station is the nearest station.
Cross the bridge, and find yourself in front of Lawson. The steps to the riverbank are on the left.)

No need to bring a leisure sheet, I will bring a large one, enough for everybody.

Please pay ¥500 at arrival for the preparations (Mats, name tags, garbage disposal, etc. )

(2 public toilets nearby:
Near Sanjo station & on Kiyamachi street )

Send me a message if you think you can’t find the spot. But it’s pretty easy.

You can also send me messages from Instagram (beruiwasina)

See you at the picnic spot.

(For more info about our exact location, it’s right behind Pontocho Kaburenjo.)
