Let's escape the summer heat in the valley and enjoy live music, food & bevvies, and the scenic mountain setting at Solitude Mountain Resort.

On Sundays during the summer, Solitude offers free live music at the Village Green from 5-7 pm. The band playing this evening is Lisa and the Missing Pieces.

There are three restaurants in Solitude Village that will be open:

--Stone Haus (casual - pizza, sandwiches, salads, ice cream)
--Honeycomb Grill (American classics - full menu of appetizers, healthy bowls, burgers, entrees)
--Thirsty Squirrel (extensive beer list, cocktails, light pub food)

Order food to go for a picnic on the lawn. Beer to go is available from Stone Haus and the Village Store. (Note that if you'd like wine or cocktails from the Thirsty Squirrel, those must be consumed inside the bar, which has a nice outdoor patio but no direct view of the live music).

Meet at 4:45 pm in front of the Stone Haus Pizzeria and Creamery in Solitude Village. See the attached map - Stone Haus is number 6. Everyone can grab whatever food and/or drinks they'd like, then we'll assemble on the lawn for the live music (number 11 on the map). If you arrive later, look for us on the lawn starting at 5pm - we'll have a purple balloon so you can spot us.

To reach the village, from Big Cottonwood Canyon Road use Entry 2 for Solitude Mountain Resort. Park in the Village Parking lot.
