Living in Tuscany (Florence)

Hi, I'm new to this forum, my husband and I are from Australia. We are looking at living in tuscany for the experience and maybe stay so we are seeking feedback / info about renting a vila, we have two small dogs. the cost of living, whats it really like living there on a long term basis. transport, all sort of info please welcome. I'm an artist and my husband an business man. would love to study italian and also digital art. thanks so much. Avani
