Powerful Strategies to Thrive (not just survive) at Work
it is the topic we are covering in the coming event of our activity group : Professional Networking
We all experience difficulties on the job at some point in our lives. Maybe you have had a difficult relationship with a boss or a peer. Maybe there has been a restructuring that put you in a job you didn't ask for. Maybe the business you work for isn't doing so well and you are concerned about your job. Maybe you aren't happy doing what you are doing anymore. When experiencing these challenges at work are you able maintain your resiliency and thrive? Have you been able to be transformed by workplace challenges?

The interactive event will be focused on discussing best practices to build resiliency and not just survive on the job, but thrive. Come prepared to network, meet new people, and join in the discussion about resiliency.

Think about a time when you experienced difficulty on the job. What did you do? How were you resilient? How did you thrive, learn and grow from the experience, not just survive? Lynn Schmidt will be sharing some of the strategies she has discovered through her discussions with hundreds of people about their resiliency strategies. You'll leave the event with some tips on how to improve your own resiliency.
