When first moving to Washington, D.C., I didn't know many people outside of the office. InterNations has changed that with some exciting events.
Living in Fort Worth
Fort Worth, or "Cowtown" as it is affectionately known due to its status as a trading and cattle center on the Chisholm Trail, is the 16th largest city in the USA, and has a budding and vibrant expatriate community. There are many attractions for expats living in Fort Worth to discover, notably the Bass Performance Hall, which occupies an entire city block and has been called the "crown jewel of downtown Fort Worth." The Fort Worth Botanical Gardens are also a sight to behold, boasting 109 acres of "living museum" showing off over 2500 different species of plants from across the globe. Fort Worth also has the world's largest indoor rodeo, a great place to experience the all-American culture.

Moving to Fort Worth
Moving to Fort Worth as an expatriate is fairly straightforward, as it is such a large and multicultural city already. Nevertheless, InterNations can help with any quandaries or queries that may arise, being as it is the largest global network for expatriates across the globe and all walks of life. It has over a million members situated around the world, and our online forums are filled with members who are always happy to help with information and ideas. InterNations can provide a wealth of knowledge and support for establishing a new life as an expat. It's a fantastic place to exchange and receive information and insider tips on all aspects of expatriate life. Because it is a global network, there are usually members online to offer assistance or just to chat to about life as an expat, regardless of the time of day, or your time zone!
Working in Fort Worth
The InterNations community is made up of people from all walks of life including many private sector expats, diplomatic and inter-governmental staff, as well as many former expatriates and global minds. Between them, InterNations' members have vast amounts of knowledge and experience of life and work abroad as an expat. Working as an expatriate in Fort Worth should be no cause for concern. Being such a large city, there are work opportunities in numerous different roles and sectors, and providing you have the correct working visa you should have no problem finding a job in your chosen area. Many of InterNations' members are expatriates who move with their work, but they bring with them partners and families, many of whom also find work in their new city of residence. In that way, the community can be a fantastic way of garnering not only information on the best places to look for work in Fort Worth, but also a place to socialize and network with other expats in Fort Worth, the US, or any other corner of the earth.
