A Manhattaner in Mainhattan... (Frankfurt)

Hello everyone,

I recently joined InterNations as my partner (who is German) and I (who is not) have relocated from New York City to Frankfurt. This is my first time living abroad, so I am hoping that this forum will be an excellent way to meet new people in and around Frankfurt and as a means to pose those inevitable expatty questions as they arise.

I don't want to make this post sound like an online dating ad... so I'll refrain from being too "all about me/I-like-long-walks-on-the-beach." Suffice it to say, I'm a 30 year old guy, I have a lot of varied interests (many of which could be the basis for making new friendships), and I'm looking forward to exploring all that Frankfurt has to offer. Unfortunately, I missed the most recent large group event; however, I'm looking forward to future ones.
