Average time to complete a property transaction (Frankfurt)

Hi everyone,

I am in the process of purchasing my first house in Germany (for which, a price was agreed almost three months ago). To me, the process seems to be taking forever! I was wondering if any of you have had experiences in purchasing a residential property here in Germany, and if so, how long did the process (after agreeing a price) take you?

I'm just wondering if I am being impatient or whether the process is normally so painfully slow here in Germany.
