Fishing Licence in Germany (Frankfurt)

Does anyone know of a way to obtain a german fishing licence through an English speaking course ? Have been fishing since a boy but apparently cannot fish in Germany without doing a 5 weekend course and cannot find any in English.
Any help would be appreciated
