Combine hiking and carnival this Saturday!

What : Hike, watch the carnival parade and be merry!

Where : Meeting place – Wiesbaden Hauptbahnhof (train station) in front of the KFC

Transportation
10:33 am, train leaves Wiesbaden to Oestrich-Winkel
We will buy the group day train ticket.

Parking
Wiesbaden HBF, near the back of Lilien Carre Mall or close to the Schlachthof club
Don't plan on parking in Hattenheim, it's a small town and it will be busy with carnival visitors

Hiking Route
Around 10 km, from Oestrich-Winkel up through the vineyards to the village of Hallgarten, where there will be the first carnival activities to see. From there we will walk down to Hattenheim where the carnival parade will start at 14:11. You decide if you want to bring your carnival outfit along and dress for the occasion!

Food
The participants and spectators can get together in the Hattenheim Castle, where the party will continue. I'm sure there will be enough wine for everybody!

What to bring
Food and drink to take during the hike
Extra warm clothing and accessories (might be cold and windy)
Carnival outfit (if you like)
Money for food and group train ticket
Your smiles, laughter and merry mood!
