Financial Success and Cultural Flair in the City

Over 100 skyscrapers not only make for a distinctive skyline in Frankfurt, but also give rise to optimism in regard to employment opportunities for expats working in the business industry in particular. With one of the largest stock exchanges in the world, finance, banking, and insurance provide career options for expats at the many national or foreign banks. The city also attracts expats from all over the world thanks to one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country and numerous jobs available throughout. Germany has a continental climate with warm summers and cold winters that dominate the seasons. Expats coming from outside of Europe will enjoy Frankfurt, especially during the winter, when the city opens the many Christmas markets and the whole center is adorned with Christmas decorations. Moreover, Frankfurt is home to one of the richest and most diverse culinary scenes in the entire world where expats will have the opportunity to taste the famous Frankfurter Wuerstchen (sausages) and the extraordinary Frankfurter ring cake.
