Freiburg for Children

Hi,

We are very new to Freiburg and would like to start exploring it ASAP. Are there any groups for moms/ dads with children? We are an international couple, and have two bilingual kids, fluent in both English and Russian, we also speak Chinese and learning German.

I, personally, would love to meet local moms, set up playdates, arrange get-togethers to the museums, zoos etc. I also need your advice on schools: our children went to Montessori in Colorado and we'd like to continue with it; we haven't decided yet between exclusively German or Ge-Eng school. I'd appreciate any advice. Thank you in advance!
