Parking in Geneva

Hello,

I will be attending graduate school in Geneva, at IHEID, this fall and will be living in Annecy, France. School starts in a few weeks and I am trying to figure out my commute. It seems that finding parking at my university is near impossible and I've been advised to park at a P+R near the border and take the bus or tram to school. Which sounds great, excepts that I cannot figure out which is the best P+R and how to obtain a parking space. I will need to commute 5 days a week from Annecy to the UN area of Geneva. I would really appreciate any help in navigating this issue. Thanks!
