Tip the consuls ? (Geneva)

They organize for us the events where we have a lot of fun, meet a lot of very friendly and interesting people.
They negotiate with the places, they find new ones.
Thanks to them I could discover a restaurant I would never known .
And I can imagine how time consuming it can be to manage the organization.
And for all of that, unless mistaken, they are not paid.
Okey it is an opportunity for them to network. But this does not reward them for what they concretely and immediately achieved.
I am personally against a business model where the minority of owners takes it all the benefits.
This is why I propose to tip them
