Fund Advisers Europe, a regulated, registered, independent financial advisory , are looking for Wealth Managers in Geneva for an immediate start.
The Role of the Wealth Manager :
The Wealth Manager position is a leadership role, he/she will be expected to make a fully engaged contribution to the vision of the business. The right Wealth Manager will have relevant industry qualifications and he/she will embrace a concentration on financial planning (investment analytics and solutions) and client relationship development.
The Wealth Manager will represent the business at industry functions such as the local Chamber of Commerce and hold client seminars, business travel may be required.
Responsibilities will include the overseeing of the maintenance of clients whilst adding to the portfolio. He/She will also be responsible for leading and managing a Client Relationship Manager /Paraplanner.
Ultimately, the Wealth Manager will be a trusted fiduciary, cultivating new opportunities to serve existing clients and pursuing new client relationships. As a fully engaged team member, the Wealth Management Adviser will lend his/her strengths toward achieving our shared business vision in collaboration with the internal team.
Part of the role involves investment analysis, scheduling client meetings and preparations and attendance at all meetings, to capture evolving short term and long term client needs. This relationship model ensures client confidence in the adviser team, and our mission to maintain updated and relevant status of their financial well-being.
The fulfilled role of the Wealth Manager will lead the development of wealth management business, overseeing the financial planning and client relationship services for the wealth management side of the firm in conjunction with the overall business vision.
Desired Skills & Experience:
The Wealth Management Adviser currently carries a relevant industry qualification. An undergraduate degree in a field relative to client counseling such as economics, financial planning or investment analysis, would be valuable but is not essential.
• Minimum 3 years experience within top level private banking/asset management/wealth management/financial adviser – no record of client dissatisfaction or regulatory sanctions.
• Personable & professional manner
• Proven track-record in client-relationship management & acquisition
• Self-motivated, dynamic personality, with an ability to work independently
• Experience in leading or working within a Sales team would be advantageous
• Relevant Industry exams
• Fluent in English, another language would be an advantage
