Bobbie the Rottweiler needs a new home. She is nearly four years old and a loving dog and really loves to play. She should be in a home with no other dogs. Generally gets on well with other dogs but has issues with smaller ones. She suffers from bad shoulder but vet says just a weak joint and she is not on medication or treatment. Frequent shorter flat walks are required. She needs a family that will give her lots of love and attention. She is a big dog so families with older children recommended or a great companion for someone older. Totally house trained, and can be left alone for several hours at a time. Travel’s well, and likes the car. Sometimes she thinks she is small and tries to get up on your lap as loves to be stroked and given lots of attention. Likes water and fishing for stones and likes chasing anything you throw for her. She can startle quite easily when people walk behind her when she is relaxed on the lead. She will bark at people coming up the drive, but lick them to death when she meets people. Vacs are up to date and beside her weak shoulder a healthy dog. We have been fostering her for a year, but she does not get on with our little dog at all so we are unable to keep her.
