Homesick Australian flatmate (Glasgow)

Hey guys!
Just had a new flatmate from Australia move in with me recently (very exciting, I know!).
However, the poor thing is really not coping well with the Scottish winter and general culture shock and is currently hiding away (or hibernating, not sure) in her room. I even tried luring her out with vegemite which kind of worked, but not really.
Any tips on how to cheer a wee Aussie lass up? Or any fellow Aussies around who'd be willing to show her how to get over the inevitable, initial culture shock?
I'm currently writing up my dissertation and don't have a lot of time to show her around, unfortunately, otherwise I'd try to distract her from her homesickness.

Any tips would be really appreciated!
