Newcomers in Glasgow

Hello everyone,

Me and my husband are moving to UK in the nearest future. We are still not 100% sure about the place yet, however we are very much interested in moving to Glasgow since my husband has been living there some time ago and he simply loved people and nature over there.
Nevertheless, I have never been living there and would like to ask people for any advice they can give us, as for newcomers. Any information about if it is very difficult to find a job in Glasgow (building and construction sector in particular, though anything would be fine for the beginning)? How long it took you at the very beginning to get any job? Is the rent/living very expensive in this city?
