salary, living costs etc (Glasgow)

Hi, am planning after spending my holidays here to move to aGlasgow and get a job. I would like to setup my budgetting plan to elaborate what salary rangebI will be looking for. Can someone tell me what costs I have to consider? I discovered there is a council tax which one has to keep in mind are there other similar costs I have be aware of? I also have a car and wonder what inscription costs, insurance costs etc I should calculate. To be honest, I have not found any leaflets on living costs, information heath insurance etc. In Belgium, we have a rather good social system and employers offer you the hospitalization insurance, give you a monthly allowance for appearance, mobile phone, laptop, retirement insurance/plan, internet package, fuel card and car meal checks and other benefits. Could you tell me what is usually in the benefit package?
