Applying for new South African Passport? (Gothenburg)

Hej all who read this!

I unfortunately live in the quiet, and not so amazing city, Karlstad. Not so amazing because I live 35km north of it and have no friends - only my sambo and cat - and no South African Embassy (naming one thing).

To get to the point and bypass my lonely and miserable setting.... Where would I apply for a new South African Passport since mine expires next year! YIKES!!!

I have a feeling I am going to have to fork out money I do not have to travel to a city that does have an embassy...correct?

Excuse the morbid tone of this mail. 10 months of cabin fever, no salsa dancing or employment can do this to a person who partly relies on friends and socializing to feel happy.
