Midsummer... (Gothenburg)

Yes, we are quite obsessed with it. Herring, new potatoes and tons of strawberries. Not to mention beer and 'schnapps' in great quantities. If you're new to Sweden, it's quite a treat.

Traditional celebrations are held all over the city, but if you hate being alone, maybe we could organize something?

Here on Styrsö, where we live, there is a traditional celebration at 3 pm on Friday. You can take the boat which literally stops 15 meters short of they May pole. There is dancing and flags and small raffles: Protected content
